His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (2 Peter 1:3)
Twelve were baptized last Saturday (12th July). Ninety two (93)were confirmed at the Bilingual Service last night and 82 will be confirmed in the BM Service later this morning. Praise the Lord! He has added so many lives into our church. We rejoice and are glad in this amazing witnesses of His Divine Power to change lives. It is by His Divine Power that we have been given everything we need for our new life and godliness.
We are privileged to be part of this community of faith that God has accepted as His partners in His business of winning souls for our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank God for His faithfulness and praise Him for the fruitfulness of our ministry. Many of you have devoted a lot of time and effort to nurture this harvest of souls. The dedication and purposefulness of our lay leaders are well reflected by those who serve as full time staff in our church. I am deeply encouraged so far by the two meetings with our staff in the last two weeks. Please join me to pray, praise and giving thanks to God for our staff and all our leaders in our church. These leaders and staff together with all our church members are the most valuable asset God has given to our church.
St. Patrick's Church is a community of faith made up of many different languages and cultures. But the same Divine Power has given us the life that is consistent with the Gospel we share and proclaim. This power must be shown in life, love and action but not just in words. The challenge for each of us is to live the Gospel life
to lift up the name of Jesus. May our life in Jesus as a church glorify the Divine Power of our Lord God. Have a wonderful week to the praise and glory of His Name.
